IK Multimedia iKlip Stand review

Hey what’s up fam! Today I’m checking out something I’ve been waiting for, for a while, the iKlip Stand!

I first saw this stand at winter NAMM and couldn’t wait to grab one, it was exactly what I wanted for my iPad.

So let’s just get into it!

What is the iKlip Stand?

This is an iPad stand that raises your device up above the rest of the gear on your desk.

What that means is, you don’t have to worry about the deskspace needed from other stands, and for me, it’s a little more ergonmic.

I have a midi controller, well actually 3 controllers, and a couple of synths on my desk, so I needed something to keep my iPad within reach but not “in the way”.  That’s pretty much what this thing does.

So what’s the bottom line?

Well I absolutely love the build quality of the iKlip and this one carries that same quality/durability.

I also love the wide range of motion you get while still keeping your iPad secure.

I give the iKlip Stand 5 out of 5 subs, I think it’s a great accessory for anyone that plans to use their iPad in their studio setup.

Being able to raise it up above my keyboard and other synthesizers really allows me to be more flexible in how I use the iPad.

It also makes it more comfortable for me than many other stands and options for iPad integration.

Also for those that don’t want to take up desk space, being able to attach it to the side of your desk and turn it into an adjustable arm is cool as well!
