This one is more “traditional” and not really in the sound design style I’ve been reviewing.

It’s a Kontakt library dedicated to accordions
It’s made up of 8 different accordion instruments
Also runs in the free Kontakt Player in addition to the full version
It has it’s own custom interface to make tweaking and editing straight forward and simple

How does it sound?
Honestly it sounds like some accordions!
This isn’t a sound design library so you don’t get any strange morphed instruments or soundscapes.
You get really great recorded accordion samples, that are playable and instantly tweakable.
I like that the smaller details are included like the button presses and releases, things that really make it sound authentic.
Other than that, everything is well recorded as usual, no artifacts or rouge imperfections, other than those intentionally captured for realism.
What’s the bottom line?
If you’re looking for accordion samples, this is one to check out for sure.
Not an “all purpose” library by any means, so you may or may not find use for it in your music.
But you know me, I like to checkout the “specialized” libraries as much as the more general instruments.
I give Accordions 4 out of 5 subs. I think the sound and play-ability is on point, and the interface is very well scripted for instant control.

Yep, it sounds very natural to my ears. There’s no many libraries dedicated to this instruments, I think. Personally I don’t know if I would be able to do something with an accordion(real or sampled) but for sure I’d recommend this one to anyone who need it. I mean sounds great!
@Angelinni, yeah it really sounds good. Like you said, if someone is looking for one, definitely should check this out.
Yo ! saint that library is crazy man. If you remember I’ve talked about something like this a few months or early in the year. Personally I don’t know about the other cats but if you are a producer in the south like Texas or Louisiana this would come in handy. Some places I play zydeco or Latin music. Latin peeps in the south love Cumbias.
