Big Fish Friday: Samplephonics Classic Hip Hop Cuts

Back with another Big Fish Friday! I know it’s been a minute but things have been crazy the last couple of months.

Anyway, I’m back with some dope samples to show you, so let’s just jump right into it!

Today I’ve got some classic Hip Hop samples from Samplephonics.

So what is Classic Hip Hop Cuts?

The whole idea behind this library is to provide you with that gritty, organic, chilled out Hip Hop sample vibe.

Thing vinyl, keys, bass, guitars, synths, and drums, all with that warmth, crackle, and grit of classic Hip Hop tracks.

There are no construction kits in this library.

This one is made up of  loops and oneshots, all ready to go into your favorite sampler for chopping, looping, or playing across the keys in something like Kontakt.

If you like digging to find small pieces of audio to work with, or even if you like working with classic loops, there’s something here for everyone.

So how does it sound?

This library has a very dope organic vibe to it.

Deep bass, smooth keys, analog sounding pads, and banging drums, all with a layer of dirt, dust, and crackle to give it a classic feel.

There are plenty of loops with enough variety and length to chop up, but I also dig the fact that you get oneshot drum and synth sounds for even more creativity.

Sometimes you may want to work with a drum loop, and other times you just want to create your own.

With this library you can do both.

So what’s the bottom line?

If you dig classic sounding samples, these do not disappoint in any way.

I give Classic Hip Hop Cuts 4.5 out of 5 subs, there’s plenty of content and the quality is definitely right where it needs to be.

I also love the fact that you can load up the drum and synth kits not only in Kontakt, but directly in Maschine, NNXT, and many other popular sampler formats.

When something is super fast to load, audition, and play, I feel it can do nothing but aid in your creativity.

And the drum/synth oneshots are pure dope!
