Yall remember a month or two ago I downloaded some free drum samples that I thought were pretty dope, so I ended up making a quick video?

Anyway, Traumah has since released 3 or 4 limited edition drum kits on the market and they seem to do pretty well each time he does a new release.
That’s not the point though, he’s giving out some more free drums again lol…that’s what I’m talkin bout today.
Peeps have asked me many times since I did that video if I could send them the drums, which I couldn’t, because they weren’t mine
But Traumah is giving out some more.
These are some cool drums, very unique and hard hitting…not so much a general style drum collection but his drums to me are purpose built for making those hard hitting bangers. Where the drums are the focal point of the track.

I liked his lil sales pitch, but $197 is too much for me to spend right now. I just got Arturia V Collection on ebay from NovaMusik for $299. I can’t wait to get those Synths. When it comes to drums, I say layer just right and filter. I tend to filter out sounds below 90Hz in my drum tracks. Leave the LOW frequencies for your BASS!! 😉

Im actually in a long ass process of going through every drum sound i have and picking out the best sounding ones i can find trust me i spent hours so far just going through kicks and got 145 out of prolly 600 lol and still have folder after folders of drums i purchased to go thru. Im mainly doing it so i dont have to cycle thru all the shitty ones to find a good one but im eventually gonna sell it of course ima hook my man joe up with the kit of all kits

How did you configure Maschine to give you a 4 bar count before recording? Saw you do that in the video.
I followed your advice and got it. NICE. Still learning.
