Insusurro Pads Kontakt library review

Hey what’s good fam!

Hope all is well during this holiday season.

Today I’m checking out a new developer that captured my interest on his first product name alone.

The name of the product is Pads….yes, the sounds I love so dearly.

Let’s check it out!

So what is Pads?

PadsIt’s a HUGE collection of patches for Kontakt covering all types of pad sounds.

It comes with it’s own sexy scripted interface and a bunch of patches.

There really isn’t much to say in terms of “what is it” the name describes it pretty well in my opinion.

The patches are organized by category or rather by style into separate folders for quick locating.

So anytime you’re looking for a pad, you can open it up, decide your pad type, and browse through the hundreds of patches in each folder.

Quick Specs

So how does it sound?

Reel to Reel Tape RecorderI couldn’t wait to try this out, I’m a fanatic for good pads and this library does NOT disappoint.

I really like how the pads are broken up by style or type but I wouldn’t be mad if it was just one big folder as there is so much content here and it’s all about the pads!

However, having different folders does help find exactly what you’re looking for, rather it’s dark, dreamy, atmospheric, gentle, big….you can quickly pull up those exact styles.

Each pad is made up of two layers that you can edit independently.

Some of the pads are very simple, some are complex and evolving, some are light and airy, and some have a hint of percussive elements to them.

I even found some that could be played almost like a synth lead…but no matter the style, they were all well programmed and the interface allows you to quickly tweak the fx, filter, and envelopes to your liking.

So what’s the bottom line?

If you like Pads, you want to get this product, period.

4andhalfsubsI give Pads 4.5 out of 5 subs, I think it’s a great first product for a new developer and I’m super excited to see what else they have in store

I can’t stress enough, if you’re like me and you are a fanatic when it comes to pads and atmospheres, then you need to pick this up…the price is crazy!

Go on over and check it out:

If I have omnisphere already, do I still need this?

I seem to only be able to read part of the review. I get as far as the description about the presets. What about the rest of it? Controls? Features? Flexibility?
