The Hydrasynth is a brand new synth from a new company called ASM. This is a super powerful synth with plenty of ways to manipulate the sound. It’s fully digital and proud of it. Nothing wrong with that, but if you know me you know when it comes to synth sounds I have a particular taste.
Hydrasynth has a lot of ways to add “imperfection” to the sound to give it a bit more texture and organic feel, one of those features is the Lofi effect. I find myself adding this quite a bit to get a bit of texture and character within the sounds. The great news is this synth is so powerful you can really create whatever type of sounds you wish.
