Might check this one out, have you heard the one by Freshtones? And if so how is that one?
Yeah fam, I have that one too, it’s nice as well and has a little bit of extra stuff like Kontakt instruments, I’ll be showing it on here too.
@saintjoe,
Freshtones has Kontakt instruments? Can you elaborate if you don’t mind? Does it have one shots? If not are Freshtone’s breaks to busy to be chopped into one shots? I like how they sound!
@Rich Harris, they made multi sampled drum kits as well as breaks, I will be doing a video on it as well
@saintjoe,
Thanks man, can’t wait for the vid, what what is the actual product called? is it for sale anywhere?
@Rich Harris, Yeah it’s called Freshtone Vintage Drums, The Fills
They sound hot Joe – sounds like a lot of them are recorded with a lot of reverb, and some other effects… sometimes that can limit the flexibility of a pack like this…
…then again, ‘real’ breaks obviously have ‘verb, so no biggie.
Yeah, that’s one of the characteristics of breaks actually, they already have a bit of reverb on them a lot of times.
I can see these coming in handy, especially when dropped into Traktor’s remix/sample decks.
Never can have too many breaks lol
This is hot. I understand that due to time, etc. that you couldn’t go through them all. But could you tell me if it contains the Apache and King Kong breaks? Those two take me back to the 80’s and doing windmill flares on cardboard…I’d love to get a hold of those.
@Jamari, they didn’t really name them specifically after certain breaks but I’m sure they replayed most of the famous ones ๐
I love sampling breaks. Based on the video I will say this is great.
Me want this, me broke.
@Haralduz7, I hear ya! Thanks for stopping by, just trying to build up a nice resource for drum lovers!
Is that a custom stand you have Big Homie ?
@E. Brown, nah, it’s just a laptop arm I found on Amazon ๐
