Today I’m showing a recently released product from Sample Logic called Tronix
This is a new instrument/library for Ableton Live
Let’s check it!
So what is Tronix?
It’s a collection of electronic styled morphed instruments and percussions.
As with most Sample Logic products, it’s created with cinematic sound design AND music production in mind.
This one has more of an electronic edge to it.
You get tons of instrument racks as well as audio loops

How does it sound?
Man you know Sample Logic never disappoints when it comes to sounds.
You get everything from ambient drones and atmospheres, to hard leads, basses, transition sounds, pads, melodic percussion, regular percussion…you know how they do it!
And it all sounds amazing!
However, it gets even better since all the macros are automatically mapped to allow quick editing and altering of the sounds. That’s what I really love about it.
I know what to expect sound wise from Sample Logic, deeply sampled and detailed instruments, noises, and fx.
But having hands on control (I’m using an Axiom Pro) or even quick control from the mouse via the macro controls in Live, really puts you in control
The sounds range from soft and mellow to rough, jagged, and distorted.
What’s the bottom line?
It’s been a while since I showed you a product from Sample Logic, and even still, they remain one of the top sound design companies around.
You may be put off since it’s exclusively for Ableton Live, but I say, even if you don’t have Live, get the Intro version just so you can get some of the libraries from Sample Logic!
I give Tronix 5 out of 5 subs, this product really gives you that high quality creative sound Sample Logic is known for with instant control and tweakability
I also love the price point, because while everything they make is for the professional/sound design crowd, products like these really blur the lines into more electronic/urban music production tools as well.
Having these type of textures to play with is sure to spark some creative genius….or at least some enjoyable sonic mayhem.
