You know what time it is, time for some goodies from P5audio
Today I’m gonna be reviewing their vintage wurli loops and licks package they sent over to me.
Whasup with the wurli?
well, I reviewed the producer pack, which includes both the loops and the licks. According to the site:

What is the production/quality like?
Good, as usual. The licks are recorded very well, no clipping or distortion. The style is definitely vintage, which gives you a different feel than many other keyboard loop libraries.
They have a lil “dirt” on them, but that’s normal for the wurli sound.
What about the price, is it a good value?
Actually I was a little surprised, to get both the loops and the licks it’s only 39 bucks, not sure if it’s a sale they are having or what.
You can also get just the licks for 19 or just the loops for 24, so you see getting both together is a good deal.
This still falls right in the normal or lower end price range for downloadable sample packs, so it’s all good.
So what’s the final verdict?
When I first opened these up, it took me a lil bit of time to see the potential.
They don’t jump out and bite you like some of the more modern sounding keyboard licks and loops, but that’s on purpose.
They are meant to sound vintange, and the more I listened the more I liked. There is definitely some stuff in here to work with.
For the quality, quantity and value I had to give this a 4 out of 5 subs.
The samples were well above average or just good, they were fun to mess with and give you a lil different sound than most keyboard samples.

I got a product which I purchased last week.
Big fish Audio`s “VINTAGE R&B”,sounds pretty cool,all sounds are played and recorded..I can find some nice patterns.
I had to give a 4 out of 5 subs.
Yeah I have it, haven’t went through it all the way yet, but what I’ve heard so far sounds ill.

Like I said in the article man, I didn’t know either! Until I kept messing with them, it’s like a puzzle man…when I first started I thought I was gonna have to give it a 2 or something for being wack lol.
Then I just opened up my mind and got out of the contemporary mode, they def have a different feel to them, but that’s good.
You can do it man! I didn’t do anything special lol. Have fun with the samples too.
