Analog Boom Bap is a series of drum libraries from Beatppl which is an extension of BBoyTechReport.
The concept is to mix analog and boom bap into a bangin mixture that would make any boom bap beatmaker happy.
He used analog synths, hand percussion, vinyl samples, fx, tape, drum machines and more to craft a very unique sounding product.
I’m usually not one for analog drums, but this isn’t simply analog drum sounds, again, it’s all about using analog together with that beatmaker’s ear to provide a new style of boom bap kits.
Definitely something to check out if you’re looking for a kit with a bit of a different texture while remaining true to the boom bap vibe.
