So what is Eclipse?
Remember that dope product I reviewed from Wide Blue Sound called Orbit? Well this is their follow-up, while Orbit was more airy, dreamy, and nice, Eclipse is like the more aggressive cousin!
It still has the same creative interface, and orbit engine system, as well as the sequencers and effects.
This time, the sounds are a bit darker, more edgy, aggressive, and hardcore….the perfect companion to Orbit!
It’s like salt and pepper for your epic audio cuisine!

So how does it sound?
Dope! Insane…epic…hardcore…crazy…uhm……..delicious? No seriously, it just sounds really good man!
Also, the interface is amazing and even though it doesn’t make noise, I feel it adds to the sound by how quick and easy it is to customize what you have going on.
I love the multi layer setup, the sequencers, and the fx, they all work together to give you a huge toolbox to work with.
Even though this one is said to be more aggressive, it’s not “just” aggressive in my opinion, there are still some simply beautiful sounds to be had, especially when you’re in flow mode.
You have aggressive sequences, evolving pads, erie strings, rhythmic synths…man it covers so much ground!
Overall the sounds is ready to go, fun, and just plain inspiring at the end of the day, which is what we look for right?
So what’s the bottom line?
You want an amazingly creative instrument that is inspiring to use and makes you sound like a million bucks? Get ECLIPSE!
Seriously, I give Eclipse 5 out of 5 subs, the sounds is amazing, the interface is super functional and clean, plus, it’s very resource friendly, win…win…win!
The only thing I would change is making the rate picker for the sequencers a drop down menu, maybe the were and my mouse was acting funny, but either way…total dopeness in this library for sure.
