Review: Lo-Fi Soul & Future Beats from Capsun Audio

Got another review for you, this time it’s a sample pack from Capsun Audio.  I’ve had this one for a while but finally getting a chance to show it to you.

So what is Lo-Fi Soul & Future Beats

This sample pack is a mixture of organic boom bap, ambient vibes, and downtempo smoothness all in one.

Capsun definitely has a chilled out vibe that usually has a nice mix of organic drums/percussion, and airy synths, as well as authentic guitar and key sounds.

The mixture in this pack flows smoothly between Hip Hop, Chill, Soul, and Ambient…with a little bit of Electronic sprinkled in as well.

If you find yourself weaving in and out of these genres then you’ll definitely enjoy this pack.

Quick Specs

How does it sound?

I love the mixture here, you get bangin boom bap drums with smooth ambient pads, chilled out keys and guitars, as well as smooth leads, deep bass, and organic percussion.

There’s definitely a mix of organic, acoustic, and electronic drums, as well as acoustic instruments and analog synth sounds.

The loops are dope, ready to chop and the I really dig the fact that you get a bunch of oneshots in here.

The onshots are not just drums, but you even get oneshot hits of keys, guitars, bass, pads, leads, arps, transitions, etc.

Everything is well recorded, but most of all everything captures a nice soulful vibe.

So what’s the bottom line?

If you dig a good mix of boom bap, soul, chill, and ambient, then this pack is definitely one to check.

I give this library 4 out of 5 subs, there’s plenty of content to keep you creative and the overall feel of the pack is great, plus it’s organized in a way that allows you to attack it however you work best.

In the sampler formats it would have been cool to have kits in Maschine, Push, and MPC format, simply due to the abundance of oneshot samples in here.  Easy to drop in no doubt, but you know how we like to have things done for us 🙂

Seriously though, I love the vibe of this pack, it’s not purely classic Hip Hop, and it’s not all the way electronic, it sits somewhere between  the two with a good dose of Soul and Ambient love to keep things mellow.

Definitely go over and check it out:
