Try some of the best plugins online for free!

Hey just a quick post and video to show you a website that I’ve been watching for a little while.

It’s called Try-Sound.com and yes, it lets you virtually try tons of plugins for free, legally…it’s pretty dope.

It sets up a virtual console connection to their servers, and let’s you book session time to test out various plugins, most which have no other way of demoing them.

You get to try a lot of the high end plugins that you read about, as well as some of the favorites that don’t have a demo to download.

Most of the plugins are those with very large sample libraries, so it would be impossible to download demos of them anyway.  If you don’t have a store or studio that will let you check it out, then you’re stuck just with online videos and reviews….and no matter how got the reviews do…ahem… :)

It’s always good to get a chance to check it for yourself if you can. This technology uses your own midi and audio interface to so you can hear on your system and play with your controllers.

so checkout this video which I go through booking a session and then show you how the session works

Support this site, it’s a legal way for consumers to test out programs and it keeps the developers products safe as well…it can only get better so I say support it!

go on over and check them out: http://www.try-sound.com/index.asp/en

  1. Yeah man that is so Ill , wow what a time saver Keyword here “time saver” you can try a vast amount of software in one shop. Tutorials are great for teaching but I feel the best way to try or learn something is to get the hands on feel. I cant wait to try that I have been looking to try the KORG M3 sound bank anyway it can be done ??? A vitural Korg M3 Program would be fresh as an Vst so if any programmers are tuned in *HINT* *HINT* lol Thanks JOe!!! :)

@Dro Fontaine Muzick, yeah man, it’s cool for sure…and yes, hands on is always the best way, that’s why I try to explore stuff the way I would as looking for myself, most musicians seem to explore in a similar way…just going through the sounds and seeing whasup.

This is a dope service man… oh a virtual m3 would be nice lol, doubt it will happen though.

Yo Fam! You always bring us the dopest shit. Forgive the profanity, but this is just Ker-razy Kool. I try to keep my musical toolbox pretty stripped down. But occasionally, I feel the need to upgrade. This is a great way to demo new kit, especially stuff that doesnt have downloadable demos.

As always Fam, Your a Saint!

Wow, that’s a really great concept. I’m actually surprised some of the original manufacturers haven’t done this on their own sites. Streaming sound demos are cool, but this seems much more useful. Thanks for giving it some exposure, I’m gonna check it for sure.

@Metatron72, yeah, it’s pretty dope…I think it’s cool to have them in one spot instead of on each companies site, so you can just go to one spot and mess around, sorta like being in the store.

Much props for this website def something very useful, im surprise companies aint throwing plug ins at them for peeps to test out cuz its just gonna bring them more sales. Cuz you can only offer so much with a demo ya know.
