So I decided to start doing something kinda fun here for the site readers. As you know I’m always receiving and purchasing new gear to review for you guys.
But sometimes, due to the amount of stuff I get, it takes a while for me to get to everything.
I thought it would be fun to share some of my quick Instagram videos that I do when I’m just messing around with some of the gear so you can get an idea of what the stuff sounds like before I get to the full review, or just when sharing something that I think sounds cool.
Of course these are just quick and dirty video/audio snippets recorded on my phone, but I thought it would be a fun way to give you a general idea of a synth, instrument, or effect and the type of sound it’s capable of.
So this sound bite is dedicated to the Waldorf Rocket synthesizer
It’s a pretty cool monophonic synth with digital oscillators, analog filter, and some cool unision/chord functions.
In this video I just did a quick run through of the arp while tweaking the cutoff and resonance
