Samplified Sounds Noise in the Hood kit reviewed

Who’s that bangin at my window……

Bloooooooooowwww…samplified sounds….

If you remember, we’ve checked out a few kits from them recently. We checked out their vibe with the urban vibes sample pack they sent over.

We also added some heat to the beat with their digital heat sound pack they sent in for review

Today we are taking a look at the last sample kit in their collection, well…we haven’t taken and exclusive look at their drum kit, but we’ve been using it in all the reviews to give you an idea of the quality and variety of the drums. But this is the last of the sample packs they sent over for review with actual sounds and loops in it.

Boyz…I mean Noise in the Hood?

NoiseInTheHoodOff top, I gotta be real with ya. I didn’t know what to expect with this company as I keep telling you…and the name of this sample kit had me rasin my eyebrow a bit.

Noise in the hood? ย Yeah…I thought the name was a lil corny but hey!ย That don’t matter right?

As long as it sounds dope it’s good…but I gotta keep it real with ya!

So onto the sounds man!

They say on their site that this kit is made specifically to bring out that hip hop street anthem bubbling up in ya fingers…

Again we get 500 sounds. Multi-samples, chords, melodies, hits and stabs.

What type of sounds? How about some strings, electric guitars, synths, bases, organs, pianos, and brass….

Sounds like a recipie for some lovely hip hop gumbo! Maybe even some creole style baby!

So is it hot or just noise? What it sound like?

Uhhh you should know by now, just like the other two, the sound is top notch.

The quality remains to be top notch and the sounds are ready to plug into your favorite sampler, slicer, dicer, or blender…without much of anything done to them.

Of course, for you beat chefs of the chopping persuasion, you can still chop em up, add fx, and mangle em into something different.

I like everything from the single hits to the fully produced multi-sample riffs.

Love it.

Is there variety though?

Did you hear me when I said 500 hunnid sounds? Yeah…their packs are built on variety, simple because they give you not just hits, not just chords, not just loops and riffs, but all of the above!

I will say it again, I REALLY like how they put together their packs man…they really give you a ton of elements to keep you busy.

With the chords, you can always do something new with those, the riffs, you can chop up any way you like, and the other hits and stabs can be used as hot sauce on your next batch of deep fried electric funk.

So is it good, are you feelin it…is there some noise in YO hood?

One word? YES.

I am totally feelin this company man, they have not disappointed me one bit. Sure, some of their multi-samples are kinda short, I think they were made to just plug into your beats as is…and they are so freaking dope that many will do just that…which is why I like to get my chop-chop on.

Outside of that, I really find it hard to notice any faults in their collection, seriously…it’s that good.

I’m throwin them out another 4.5/5 sub rating for this kit man, it’s just so sexy, and if i’m inspired and want to continue to use it, then it’s good stuff.

4andhalfsubsSure, I can find something to use anywhere, but when the kit is this well put together, I can really just focus on creating.

I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more from this company. You should definitely check them out man, they bring something very different to the game…it’s fresh….like a huge plate of garden salad baby!

Go on over and checkout Noise in the Hood and see what I mean.

    • Hahahahaha lol….

I told you via email, crunk aint my style, I told you just now..that aint my style..if that make me old school then so be it.

You have thousands of dudes on youtube and everywhere else making crunk beats. I really don’t care if you want to hear crunk beats from me kid (why you want to hear crunk from me anyway?) lol…if I get in the mood to do it, I will.

Do you not understand the point of these posts is to review the sound kits from these companies? Not just to get on here and show you I can make a beat. Regarding the kicks and snares I sent out…I’ve had plenty of people who liked the sounds I GAVE them..there were definitely claps in there, and what do you mean by “real drumkits” lol. You want a bunch of acoustic drums man? Do you think an 808 is a “real drumkit lol.

I understand everyone has different tastes…some like what I do, some don’t. That’s fine with me…that’s what music is about…variety.

If you can’t learn from or appreciate styles other than “crunk” then your music will remain very limited….

And trust me when I tell you, I don’t want or need your drum kits man lol..I have “crunk” drum kits…I have more drums and sounds than you could imagine, and not just a bunch of stuff that can be downloaded for free online…

How about this… if I ever get in the mood to do something “crunk” then I’ll post it just for you bet?

Matter of fact…I told you I have a sample kit to review that you will like, it’s made specifically for “crunk” music…just be patient bro.

Thanks for the encouragement man…it’s all good man, I know I can’t be for everyone, but I’m not gonna dumb it down just to please a few lol. • It’s all good bro, it’s hard to tell joking when in writing lol. I do got that sample pack though, I still have to review, it’s made for that crunk style of music.

I think I remember you telling me about tupac style beats….hmmm…I wouldn’t even know what to call his tracks man. He had a mixture of west/east/funk lol….

I wouldn’t say I am a “great” man, I just want to help as many as possible bro!

And there is nothing wrong with crunk, but if you notice, even crunk producers need to listen to other styles especially stuff like rock and even electronic stuff, to separate themselves from the rest.

keep it up man, hopefully I can bring ya something you can use bro.

      holla
