Sample Logic Cinematic Guitars Infinity Review

4

Hey what’s good fam!

Back with a new review from Sample Logic, the latest in their Cinematic Guitar series.

Today I’m checking out Cinematic Guitars INFINITY

Let’s check it out!

What is Cinematic Guitars INFINITY?

Cinematic_Guitars_InfinityIt’s the entire collection of Cinematic Guitars, including version 1, 2, and the new version 3.

In addition to the complete content of versions 1 and 2, you get a completely new set of content and instruments in Cinematic Guitars 3.

On top of all of that, you get INFINITY, which brings all of the content from each of the libraries into one powerful and super flexible interface.

This is a huge library full of everything from atmospheres and pads, to instruments, percussion, hits, impacts, and more.

All with plenty of fx, sequencing and modulation to keep you busy and creative.

Quick Specs

How does it sound?

Reel to Reel Tape RecorderThis library sounds CRAZY!!! Of course in a totally good way.

What I love about it, is how organic it sounds yet still remains flexible and innovative.

The atmospheric and pad sounds are just phenomenal, so smooth and evolving, with multiple layers of sonic goodness.

What surprised me was the quality and usability in the instrument category, usually when you’re dealing with a sound design or cinematic style library, the “instruments” are more of an after thought and seem to take a back seat to all of the creative content.

I have to say, some of the guitar patches were just plain beautiful and fun to play. They also weren’t too “busy” but have enough character to fit into various styles of music easily.

The way you can morph between sounds in the INFINITY interface is truly inspiring, with so many ways to modulate and add movement to your sounds I really don’t see how a person could exhaust even half of the possibilities you can come up with in here.

It just sounds great, inspiring, haunting, airy, enchanting, epic, organic, evolving, and pretty much just all kinds of  dopeness.

So what’s the bottom line?

Are you still reading this? If so, why have you not gone over to the site and grabbed your copy?

If you own any of the previous Cinematic Guitars and loved them…then this will make you sit outside of the Sample Logic offices….yes…I’m talking stalker status.

It’s just that good!

5subsI give Cinematic Guitars INFINITY 5 out of 5 subs without any hesitation at all. The sound quality is superb, and the interface is deeply powerful while remaining fully intuitive and most importantly it’s just fun to use.

If you do any type of work in film, tv, media, app, or game design, this is a must have, however, for those that are looking for creative high quality sounds and patches for music production, you can’t go wrong here either.

These sounds would fit in anything from pop, to electro, to downtempo…and pretty much any other type of music you can think of.

Sure it’s aimed at composers and sound design professionals, but you know my thoughts on that…if it sounds dope, it can be used anywhere!

I feel like the so many parts of this library could stand on their own as a single product, the fact that you get them all together is just pure insanity.
