Review of Forest Kingdom II from Best Service

21

Hey what’s good fam!

I’m back with a review from one of my favorite developers, Eduardo Tarilonte!

Yes, he did the Epic World, Forest Kingdom, Era Medieval Legends, and Desert Winds libraries, which I love each one!

Today I’m showing Forest Kingdom II, the follow up to Forest Kingdom, and it also includes all the content from the original.

Let’s check it out!

So what is Forest Kingdom II?

Man, it’s the sequel to Forest Kingdom, and it’s a huge library made up of instruments inspired by nature!

It’s hard to even explain exactly what this library is, but imagine what an enchanted forest or mystical jungle would sound like.

Yeah…it’s that, plus a bunch of high quality percussion, voices, and evolving soundscapes.

There really is nothing to compare it to, so it’s best to just listen and hear for yourself exactly what it is.

Quick Specs

How does it sound?

Reel to Reel Tape RecorderIt’s like ‘The Hobbit’ meets ‘Jack the Giant Slayer’ with a bit of Peter Pan thrown in for good measure ๐Ÿ™‚

Seriously, I feel like each folder or section of the library could actually be it’s own product

The percussion sounds incredibly real, the flutes are amazing, and the soundscapes are just pure insanity.

There’s also creatures, birds, and even vocals in there, everything sounding equality authentic and organic.

His libraries always have such a “man this sounds real” vibe to them, and it’s such a nice deviation from all of the synth based libraries out there.

I love sound design elements that have an organic foundation, and of course, that’s exactly what this sounds like.

So what’s the bottom line?

You know I’m a fan of Eduardo’s libraries, I think they are some of the best around, and honestly, I just feel like there is no one else that does what he does when it comes to the products he puts out.

5subsI give Forest Kingdom II a rating of 5 out of 5 subs without any doubt in my mind. This library sounds amazing, the interface is practical, and it’s just super fun to play. Oh yeah….again…it sounds amazing!

Just go over and watch the demo videos or listen to the audio, crazy stuff!ย http://www.bestservice.de/detail1.asp/best_service/forest_kingdom_ii/en

The inclusion of the full MIDI grooves is really a bonus as it gives you a nice context for the sounds themselves with much more flexibility than regular audio loops, so you can edit and tweak the performances to you own needs.

Great stuff!
