In maschine i have loopbe selected as the midi out, in reaper i have loopbe connected as the midi input

you need to download loopbe virtual midi cable it's free

I did the same thing with a physical midi cable connected to the in and out of maschine in a loop, but the virtual works better

Whats up man. So I got the template loaded, and on each channel it says "MIDI:Not Connected" So....would you mind telling me EXACTLY how your mid ins and outs are setup in your maschine software, as well as which ins and outs are enabled/disabled in Reaper? I'd really appreciate it. Btw, my soundcard is a Digidesign Mbox 2...if that helps....

at this point the only thing hardware modules offer over software is the speed with which you can browse through the sounds as opposed to "loading" sounds in software. Also, being able to reach out and touch the modules.

I've had tons of modules, the last one I sold was a Novation Supernova, I loved it, had tons of knobs, but saving multis on it just got old to me lol.

Honestly, when/if they move to allow Maschine to host vsts inside itself, it will be the only thing I need for production, many of us are pushing for that.

I just don't see a way around the msb/lsb thing and I would hope in the future they would include it for those that still like hardware modules, because some of them are still great products.

I guess you could sample your modules into Maschine as you're making the tracks, but I'm just not sure how to save a sequence and recall all of your module settings without msb/lsb data...I was in heaven when I discovered that years ago lol.

Man we are on the same page! I have the same frustrations with my mpc 2000xl load times and saving the sessions with my hardware synths. So, you said Maschine do not msb/lsb data? So what might be away around that scenario as far as saving my hardware sounds. Would I have to covert my midi to audio in Maschine and save it that way? To be honest I really want to let my hardware modules go I am just so use to that work flow. But it looks like you came from that same era and moved on. You will be my inspiration. Any advise?
