    Yes Sir,
My name is michael, and I work at Guitar Center. I have been watching your videos for a while. I would like to know what screen capture software you are using for your videos, also how do you get the audio to come threw like it dose? are you doing overdubs of the talking on video? I have been trying to record my screen and have my audio from my computer record what I here on to video. Also would like to do some live steaming also, any tips on that as well. Also would like to get into what you are doing any tips how to start.

    Thanks Michael

I use camtasia pro, I record my audio directly as my soundcard allows me to route whatever is playing on my computer. I don’t really do any live streaming.

I am in need of some acoustic treatment for my room, you seem to have some sort of curtains up. I would like to know what are they , are they effective , and where can I get them . Thanks

I have no acoustic treatment at all, those are just how I section off my area since I don’t have an actual room in my basement.

Man, you could market those curtains! This library may be just a little young for me, but it sure does have a good sound

Yeah it’s pretty cool, definitely “modern” in style.

    Hey saintjoe,

Again thank you very very much for all the time you spend, exploring all those libraries for us !! (by the way, it’s not curiosity, but I remember someone asked you how you could manage so much banks : It should not be obvious to be spoiled for choice (?)
Just some questions : If you have to choose between Urban Vault and Big Fish Audio Urban legacy, what would be your favorite ?
Another “existential” question : All those loops (above all those from Urban Legacy) are top notch but don’t we are too much stuck above all concerning the harmonic progression : Just a global harmonic key is given with maybe a 2 or 3 chords progression for the melodic instrument loops : Can you edit them with the pitch control, and if it’s the case, is it not too much tedious ?

    Thanks again

Thanks for the comment, I would probably say urban vault just because it includes a bunch of multi sample instruments as well as the loops and such. As for changing the loops, they aren’t really setup that way, I suppose you could change the pitch if you want but it’s nothing specifically setup to go in and change the notes.

It can load as a plugin in Maschine if that’s what you mean, that’s what I”m running it inside of.

Thanks SJ!…I was just hoping I could use the drum machine instead of a midi keyboard…I hate making my drums on my keyboard.

No problem fam, glad to help. I have videos of similar products from them that I used the pads on. It’s all about what midi notes your pads are sending.

All the instructions should come with it, you just install the UVI workstation software, then you can add the sound library to UVI workstation, all information for working UVI is on their site and the install instructions should be in the download/box with the product.
