Today I am checking out another kore expansion module from Native Instruments

This is another pack for those that like the cinematic, horror, gaming type music elements.

This is not a bunch of keys and synth instruments….

let’s checkout Paranormal Spectrums

A freaky step into the dark side of sound and noise

What is Paranormal Spectrums?

How about horror you can play from your keyboard?

It’s a collection of 100 Kore instruments that are more like soundscapes and evolving textures specifically created to spark fear, terror, drama, etc.

It’s really geared towards movies/ video game sounds and atmospheres…..horror genre to be specific.

They used field recordings of random, abandoned, rusty objects and locations, then mixed that with the synth love of MASSIVE and Absynth….

Since these are Kore instruments, you have 7 variations instantly morphable with the Kore controller or software, as well as instant control to various parameters to inject more or less fear in your listeners.

Quick Specs

content: 100 sounds (800 variations)

format: kore 2, kore 2 player, komplete 7, komplete 7 elements, komplete 7 players

price: $79

How does it sound?

Man….like a nightmare….seriously

I can’t even lie to you, as I was going through these sounds, in my headphones, in the basement….alone….

I had to remember I was the one playing them, some of this stuff can get down right freaky, it’s amazing they went this deep with the library, and allow you to tweak it to your own desire.

To be straight, these are atmospheres, not instruments. These elements will fit great for that creepy intro for your next song, or the background atmosphere for the hero in your next blockbuster game or movie….as he/she walks into an old, rotten cavern, somewhere deep in a forgotten desert….filled with flesh eating zombie squirrels…

Okay…maybe not the squirrels…but that could be freaky!

You get the point, some very deep, complex sounds and sound beds going on. Very well recorded, very useful, and very on target with the style they are trying to capture.

What’s the bottom line?

Bottom line is I love this product, I love exploring sounds and I really love cinematic/film sounds.

There’s really nothing missing here, if anything I wish the collection was larger!

I give this a 4.5 out of 5 subs, it’s really good and the price is right for the quality

I can see using stuff like this for intros to albums, mixtapes, etc… so it’s not JUST for film/games but it’s definitely geared towards that.

If you like these types of sounds like I do, it’s definitely worth checking out for sure.

Peep it over at the Native Instruments: Paranormal Spectrums

Aight today I got something a lil different for ya, but my fellow crate diggers out there will be feeling this one.

Sometimes you just need a “lil something” to throw into your tracks, not a full chorus or verse, but some random sound bites that add to the situation.

We’ve all dug in records, vhs tapes, 8 tracks, tv programs, etc…to find those random vocal samples…

Well know…you can just go to a folder .

Let’s checkout Cylinder Vocals

What is Cylinder Vocals?

Basically, it’s a bunch of vocal samples from an old school recording device.

Before records, before tape, before the gramophone lol…yeah…OOOOOOOLLLLLLLLD School!

The Crate Diggers label worked with the UC Santa Barbra Cylinder Preservation Society and Digitization Project….heck yeah that’s a long name.

Basically what this means is these are from original recordings between 1890 and 1929.

They were digitized, mastered, all that good stuff…but they still sound old, crusty and funky.

Quick Specs

content: 465 24bit wavs

format: one shot wav samples

price: $23.95

How does it sound?

Old lol, it’s just a bunch of old sounding vocal snippets, sentences, phrases, words, etc.

They broke them down into categories including city life, love and women, technology, sentences, words, music, geography, money, etc.

They sound like some old vinyl honestly, very crusty and crackly…maybe even an old radio sound to them.

They are useful, if you like to spice up tracks with vocals, a lot of classic hip hop would use snips and vocals like this.

The right phrase or vocal can sometimes fill in a track way better than an instrument.

You won’t just make beats with this library, it’s more of that “extra” that we sometimes look for

So what’s the bottom line?

I find these useful, like many of you, sometimes I like to mess around with random vocals in my tracks.

Good for making instrumental tracks/projects, or adding some variety to your own songs.

I’m sure you can find tons of creative use for these.

I give this library a 3.5 out of 5 subs. It’s good and usable, but more of an “extra” than anything else.

Those that love digging and chopping will see the use for them immediately.

They sound old, as they should, and they add character…as they should.

Check them out at soundstosample.com : Crate Diggers Cylinder Vocals

let me know what ya think, I thought they were pretty cool.

Yep, it’s Friday…so get you a big ole plate and get ready for some Big Fish!

Today I’m dipping back into some of that laid back, ambient, on the cloud funk!

Downtempo/Ambient is one of my favorite types of music…there are no rules…you don’t need a super complex beat.

It’s all about the sound and the emotion.

So you know I love to explore these types of libraries…

So let’s see whatsup with Ambient Skylines

What is Ambient Skylines?

A huge, deep, fluffy collections of chilled out, refrigerated…ice cold loops and samples.

This is definitely one that leans more towards the cinematic, emotional….mood setting side of chillout and downtempo music.

Tons of space and ambiance in this library.

You get loops and then a collection of “non-looped” sounds…

which brings a lot of flexibility.

This one gives you all those freezer burned, reverbed out, smooth as butter riffs and loops that you love if this is your type of stuff.

Unlike many downtempo libraries, this one has stuff that is not only good for making music, but great for sound design and sound fx work as well.

Quick Specs

content: 10.88gb total in all formats, 5 gb of 24bit wav files

format: apple, rex, wav, rmx, acid

price: $129.95

How does it sound though?

Well I’m glad you asked, as that’s what where here for.

As with anything from Big Fish, the recording is top quality with no undesired artifacts or glitches.

The thing I noticed about this library, comparing to some of my other favorite downtempo/ambient, is it’s more about the sound and the mood.

The sounds are very light, as well as heavy in ambience and reverb.

I like this, it gives it a different vibe compared to most, which makes it perfect for background music, sound fx, movie scores, games, media, documentaries, etc, in addition to straight up beat-making madness.

Everything in the library meshes together very well, from the electric bass to the airy sax samples. They all have this “cloud” over them…which you have to hear to understand. It’s not a muffled, cloaked sound….but it’s almost something like a “mist” which was sprayed across the entire collection.

One thing I did miss was a folder of dedicated drum hits, I mean there are some kick/hi-hat combinations, and a folder of percussions, but I would have liked to see some straight up ambient kicks, drums, snares. Or even a folder of drumloops ready to be chopped.

Overall the sound captures the feel and mood you would expect when you think of Ambient, not just airy, but also including some nice city/urban soundscapes as well.

What’s the final verdict on this joint?

I like it, I am a fan of downtempo/ambient music, I love to hear it and I love to make it.

This one takes on a different vibe and leans more towards the cinematic/film side of things in my opinion, as opposed to being straight up beat making material.

That’s not a bad thing, as most of the time we like to sample from things that are from film, movies, media, etc…so it gives a different vibe to the music for sure.

I give this library a 4 out of 5 subs, it’s very solid and has a lot of content.

I definitely would have liked to see some more drumloops or drum samples, but there’s enough in the kick/hi-hat loops and the percussion folder to keep you satisfied. I have no problem pulling in a snare or two to mix with the library.

Sometimes leaving the snare out gives you an even more chilled vibe

It’s definitely something to look into if you’re into this type of music and sound.

But yo…just check it out for yourself, here’s from free samples from the library! Free Ambient Skyline samples

This is just a quick video I put together showing how to use sounds from beat thang virtual in Maschine.

Of course it will work for other programs too, but Maschine has some features that makes it pretty easy and quick to do.

A lot of folks that have BTV are always looking for ways to get the sounds out of it to use in their favorite daw, sequencer, mpc, whatever.

There’s a few ways to do it, I found this way to be very quick and easy.

Some other ways to do it are recording audio directly into a wave editor or daw from btv, and chopping the samples, manually. You can make a simple beat that has what you need in it, export as a wave, and chop it manually. You can use something like Sample Robot or another automatic sampling system to do it, and there’s even a way you can do it with a script using autohotkey.

For me, using Extreme Sample Converter was the quickest and most efficient way, since BTV is a vst plugin now, I can just use the VST converter tool in Extreme Sample Converter.

Here’s the video:

So let me know what ya think, as you can see this is a dope tool to have, and automated vst sampling is like waking up to fresh pancakes…just a good thing!

Yo, ever since I bought Motu BPM I’ve been more interested in the sounds available from Motu and UVI.

Probably because they can all be opened in BPM, either way, I’ve been checking them out.

So far so good.

Today I’m checking out one of Motu’s instruments, dedicated to electric keyboard sounds.

The name of the product is simply “Electric Keys”, of course I love a dope EP so this sparked my interest even more.

Let’s check it out

So what is Electric Keys?

It’s like a buffet of electronic keyboard sounds and devices.

Despite what many may think at first (myself included) Electric Keys is not just about being another Rhodes or Wurly library….

Basically what you have is a “who’s who” of electric keyboard instruments.

Names like Roland, Yamaha, Korg, Hammond, Wurlitzer, Fafrisa, Mellotron, Moog, and Hohner should give you an idea of what to expect

And just in case you were wondering, these are all sampled in 24 bit, 96Khz, multi sample goodness

It’s a library of electric sounds broken into several major categories

Classic electric pianos, classic electric organs, electro-mechanical keyboards, funky clavs, Japanese CPianos, keyboard bass, rare & bonus keyboards, string machines, tape sampler, reed electric pianos, the B electric organ.

Quick Specs

content: 40gb of 24bit multi samples

format: vst, au, rtas, mas, dxi, mach 5, uvi workstation, motu bpm

price: $279.99

How does it sound?

As you know, specs mean NOTHING if a product doesn’t sound good. Luckily for the end user, Motu specs match the sound quality so you won’t be let down at all.

What I noticed at first playing with this, is that the sounds are very dynamic and “authentic”. Meaning an old 1960′s organ sounds like it should, not extra hi-fi. Same for old string machines…they sounds as cheesy as ever!

Each category was recorded in a way to capture the actual feel of the instrument. Some of the organs actually had the sound of the mechanical parts of the instrument in there.

With a library as diverse as this, covering so many different areas, you’d expect there to be some overlap, maybe an organ that sounds like the Wurly, or the Wurly that sounds pretty much the same as the Rhodes with just a different fx on it…not true.

These instruments could have been instruments on their own. Meaning…you could have broken down each category, and sold it as it’s own product, and folks wouldn’t be disappointed. Despite how vintage these instruments are, the recording and quality is still top notch.

I haven’t even talked about the fx engine, which allows you to take your sounds to a whole new level instantly. Everything from slight reverb to weird flanged-out chorus type multi fx…basic and usable to insane and wacky.

But it all works.

Not to mention the quick controls on the front panel of the instrument that let you quickly adjust things like bass, mid, treble and drive, or add tremelo while adjusting the depth and speed.

The sound is really good, think the fact that there are so many different categories represented, with so many different types of electric keyboards, really adds to the sound quality.

As you can tell, I like the sound and playability of the instruments, as well as how true they are to the instruments themselves. You get the smooth mellow sounds of Rhodes right next to the bite of a B3, followed by the cheesy and synthetic sound of a random string machine.

What’s the bottom line?

It’s easy to see how someone can become a fan of the Motu products, honestly, I wasn’t paying much attention until I got bpm and wanted to expand it. Knowing it could read all of the Motu instruments was definitely a plus in the decision to get it.

The interface of Electric Keys is simple but very nice, I need a good interface on my software, sorry…if it’s ugly I can’t use it. Call me superficial if you must but I HATE ugly software.

The fact that you can load these up in your daw on their own, as well as in Mach 5, UVI Workstation (free) or Motu’s BPM just makes it more flexible.

The sound quality is just flat out good, and usable…even without adding any fx. Many vintage key lovers will instantly recognize many of their favorite sounds and instruments, which could possible provoke inadvertent “old school” jam sessions…..that’s a good thing though

I really could find nothing wrong with this library, it really delivered above and beyond my expectations, I’m an EP fanatic, but the fact that you get multiple types of electric instruments in one library is like getting two prizes in the cereal box…just makes for a great day

Electric Keys without a doubt in my mind gets 5 out of 5 subs. Like I said, what impressed me even more than the sound quality is the diversity of sounds in here.

Good stuff man!

You can read up on all the instruments and the library over at Motu’s website: Electric Keys- vintage electric keyboard instrument

Check out their demos and such. I don’t think you can purchase directly from their website, but you can get it from some of your favorite online retailers.

I love them both for different reasons.

The hands on workflow of Maschine is un-matched.

And I love how it handles sampling, editing samples, chopping, etc.

But I also love the BPM sound engine, fx, and expandability with Motu/UVI sounds.

Luckily there are ways to use the best of both in a quick and efficient workflow.

I will be using Maschine for what it does best, namely sampling, sample editing, and holding the hundreds of kits I already made in it!

And I will continue to use BPM as a workstation with the various expansions and instruments available from UVI and Motu.

These two products don’t have to be against each other, and in fact, they work very well together.

I have the Maschine controller mapped to BPM so it can be more hands on (though still not as fluid as Maschine with it’s own controller)

In this video I had started a drumloop in Maschine, but couldn’t find the sound I wanted to lay over it, this prompted me to explore dragging audio into BPM, since I knew the sound I wanted was available in one of it’s many expansions.

While so many people are trying to figure out which one is better, I’m busy figuring out how to use them together!

Let me know what you think

Hey whasup, back with another one for you.

Many people I talk to, especially those that come from the hardware background, are always looking for an instrument that can provide the variety and speed of access to quality sounds that you get when using hardware workstations like the fantom, triton, or motif.

There’s been a few attempts, but many fall victim to slow loading times, quirky workflow issues, or just plain don’t have the sound quality that a person is looking for.

One of the more popular “workstation” type plugins for years has been Hypersonic 2 from Steinberg.

Now I will admit, I have heard quite a bit about it, how fast the sounds load, how usable they are, and how light it is on the cpu, but I never used it myself. It came out when I was all about hardware…so I never paid any attention to it.

Well some years later, Steinberg has decided to re-visit this virtual workstation landscape by releasing HALion Sonic.

With 12gb of content, and sound design handled by the same team that designs sounds for the Yamaha Motif…this thing has sparked quite an interest.

You know I had to check it out!

So what is HALion Sonic?

The basic idea of a workstation keyboard is for it to be able to provide everything you need to produce full music tracks. You get keys, synths, sequencing, fx, etc.

You may wonder how something like that would translate to the virtual world, where all this stuff can be handled by various plugins, daws, and fx.

But people still look for the quick tweaking, ease of use, layering, sound creation, and overall sonic quality that these types of keyboards have to offer.

HALion Sonic is a virtual version of this type of instrument. It focuses on many of the things that make a “workstation” desirable. It’s easy to navigate, easy to edit, has a huge library of sounds, useful fx, and even arpeggios and musical phrases.

It is a workstation in pretty much every sense of the term, besides not having it’s own full sequencer (that would be SICK for real!!!)

Keys, synths, drums, strings, brass, bass, guitars, mallets, atmospheres, pads, woodwinds….all parts of the music production sound spectrum in one location.

Quick Specs

content: 12gb library, over 1200 programs

engines: disk streaming/sample mode, drum mode, sliced loop mode, virtual analog synth mode

price: $249.99

How does it sound?

It sounds useful, if that can describe what I feel when playing it.

Instantly upon opening it you can just start playing and falling in love with the sounds. And there are tons of sounds in here. To my ears, that have a more “ready to go” sound than many sample based workstations seem to have.

A lot of times, you run into a “digital sterility” when using sample based workstations, but I think the architecture of the layers, fx, and articulations make for a very impressive sound out of the box. Of course you can tweak it but it just sounds good enough to load up and go without worrying about busing through extra fx before you can even play.

For a long time folks look to something like Nexus or SampleTank to be that “workstation” and while both are nice instruments, I just don’t think they can touch the quality and usability of sounds that come out of HALion Sonic…to me the sounds are more authentic, not over-hyped and definitely not dull. They seem to have the right balance of great sampling and great programming, with good use of internal fx.

And though I find the various acoustic instruments very good, to me, the stand out of the product is the virtual analog synth engine, it just sounds thick and edgy. I could really see folks using this for the synth engine alone.

It has 3 oscillators, a sub oscillator, a ring modulator and a noise generator…yes, that means you can use all of these sound generation modules per layer….in addition to the tons of fx routing, arps, phrases, you see where I’m going right?

The guitars are clean and sparkling, well except the evil distorted electric ones! The strings are lush and the keys are dynamic enough for most uses. The acoustic bass was surprisingly very good in my opinion, I really liked it.

Sure you can find specialized instruments for each category of sound, but I’ve yet to come across such a complete library, sound quality wise, that covers so much ground, and does such a good job at it.

What’s the bottom line?

Well, honestly, I think they accomplished what they set out to do. Create a very diverse instrument that is easy to use and actually has sounds that you would want to use “as-is”.

I must note that the category of ethnic instruments is SEVERELY lacking, and I, like many users, expect to find a decent selection of instruments in that category. Sure you can find a few scattered in other categories but overall I’m surprised at the lack of content in this area. I assume that will be made up for by one of the expansions they keep hinting at on the product pages.

Another thing to note is that unlike Hypersonic 2, everything isn’t “instant” loading, especially some of the more detailed acoustic instruments. While it’s quite a bit faster than most sample based workstations, you do notice the load time and I’d like to see some updates to the engine that can allow instruments to load even faster.

One more thing I notice was the cpu usage, there seems to be overall a nice bit of cpu usage, I would attribute that to the use of internal fx and such. It’s not a cpu hog by any means, but it seams there could be some tweaking to the engine overall to reduce this even more.

Overall, it’s a great product and it definitely has the workstation feel. The sounds are useful, inspiring, and fun to play.

As it stands now, I give this a 4.5 out of 5 subs, I do see some room for improvement but can’t deny the fact that this product delivers a lot of what people are looking for in an all around instrument. I didn’t even go deep into the “flex phrase” library, which is more than just your common arp engine.

I plan to do more videos showing you more of the sounds, as well as the various features, which are just too vast to cover in one video. Steinberg definitely raised the bar for “virtual workstations” and I’m looking forward to see how they continue to improve on the foundation the laid.

And to be honest, I’m also looking forward to new challengers

Go on over and watch the product videos or listen to the demo songs, you can even download a list of factory sounds on the HALion Sonic page.

leave me a comment below, let me know what you think about HALion Sonic or virtual workstation instruments in general.

Today I’m checking out another library/expansion from UVI

Ever since I bought BPM a few weeks back I’ve been exploring more of the expansion libraries available for it.

I can’t lie, I’m starting to really like what UVI/Motu is doing soundwise…it seems they don’t come up in conversations as much as other libraries.

Maybe folks just don’t know what they have over there, or maybe the people that do know like to keep it to themselves lol

And again, I like the expandability and flexibility of the libraries too.

Just like any other uvi library, this one can load up in BPM, Mach 5, or the free UVI Workstation.

Synths Anthology is all about synth sounds and instruments.

Let’s see whatsup

What is Synths Anthology?

It is a super collection of sampled synth instruments that cover the wide range and types of synths available.

You get sounds from all the major categories of synthesis like Classic Analog, FM & Formant, Vector Synthesis, Wavetables, Additive, PCM, Analog Modeling (virtual analog), PCM, etc.

They even put tons of pure waveforms from some classic synths in here so you can use them as building blocks for your own sound design.

They even included some tape machine sounds, you know stuff like the Mellotron…

it’s really a very broad collection of synth instruments and patches.

Quick Specs

content: 8.4gb, over 2000 presets

format: uvi soundcard works in BPM, Mach 5, UVI workstation

price: $129

How does it sound?

I think they did a good job at capturing the actual character of the various types of synths and synthesis here. The recording of the samples seems to be very clean and authentic, no digital clicks, pops or other artifacts.

I like that they went after various styles and instruments, and not just one specific type, this makes for a very diverse collection.

You have thick, analog fatness mixed in with clean digital tones. Bright bellish fm sounds and airy wavetable morphing as well.

They sound like you’d expect, given the instruments from which the sounds were sampled, you have a very deep collection of some of the most prized synth sounds around.

Here’s an example of the instruments and synths used to create the sounds

Roland: Jupiter 4 & Jupiter 8, SH-101, JD800 & JD990

Yamaha: CS80, CS60, CS15, CS40-M & CS70M. DX1, DX100, TX816, FS1R

Oberheim: X-Pander, Matrix 6, 4 Voices, OBXa

Sequential Circuits : Prophet VS, Prophet 5, Prophet One, T8

PPG : Wave 2.0, Wave 2.3, Waveterm B, PRK FD, EVU, HDU & Commander

Korg : PS3200, Trident MK2, MS20, M1, O1W, DW8000

Casio : CZ1, CZ100, VZ1 & VZ10M

Moog: Minimoog & Memorymoog

ARP: Odissey, ARP2600, Chroma

Waldorf: Pulse, Wave, Microwave XT, Q & Micro Q

Misc: Synclavier II, Technos Acxel, Mellotron M400, Acces Virus, Kawai K5000

Rather than organize them by instrument name, you can browse the sounds by type (analog, digital, fm, wavetable, etc) or by categories (pads, leads, synth bass, atmospheres, etc)

The fact that you can get some very fat basses right next to light airy pads is a great testament to the sampling and capturing of the source material.

I’ve always felt there’s a little bit of “edge” to direct samples of analog gear in comparison to virtual recreations of them purely by synthesis.

Though we have some very awesome modeling going on in the vst world today, there’s still something unique about loading up a sample of a fat moog bass, something in capturing that direct output from the synth itself just gives a different tone than a virtual moog at this point.

So what’s the bottom line?

The bottom line is I think this is a good, broad, versatile collection of synths that gives you a lot of different tones and textures within one libary.

Being that it is a sample based library, you won’t get the same tweakability and controls as you do with a dedicated synth plugin.

Depending on which instrument you load it in, UVI workstation, BPM, or Mach 5, you may have more control in one situation over another.

Though I love the UVI format, and the ability to load these sounds in BPM, I can’t help but feel this library would benefit even more from having it’s own dedicated virtual instrument interface. A way to combine the huge synth material with even more synth and tweaking controls would take it to the next level in my opinion.

That said, I still feel even without the deep control of a dedicated synth plugin, this library delivers a great toolbox of synth sounds.

I give this library a 4 out of 5 subs, based on the sheer amount of content, diversity, and sound quality alone.

Most of the sounds are inspiring and ready to go out the box, and even the ability to tweak basic settings like filter, pitch, amp, and lfo/modulation allow you to get some good customization going from within UVI workstation or BPM.

Even still… I can’t help but wonder how much deeper you could take this source material with more modulation capabilities and synth features like unison, detune, sub oscillators, and other common things that you would find in a dedicated synth plugin.

Either way, that’s pretty much just my wishful thinking because the source content in this library is so deep, I feel the possibilities are truly endless.

It’s price-point is slightly less than most dedicated synthesizer plugins which is cool. This keeps it in the range of other sample cds/libraries and I feel it’s definitely worth a good look/listen. If you use BPM it’s definitely a great addition to that environment as well.

It’s Friday…Big Fish Friday baby!

Today I’m checking out something that isn’t really a traditional instrument or library, but something that can definitely add to your sound toolbox.

It’s a collection of cinematic styled sound fx, hits, and noises.

You know I love this type of stuff, it’s great for adding some spice to your productions or for scoring your next blockbuster film.

This one is simply called Cinematic Sound Design…

let’s check it out

What is Cinematic Sound Design?

It is a collection of Hollywood style sound fx, elements, etc…separated into 13 different categories.

It comes with beds, drones, risers, whooshes, hits, explosions, you know…the good stuff.

They formatted it for Battery, Kontakt, reason, exs24, and general wave so everyone will be able to use it pretty much.

This is definitely targeted at those that do tv commercials, promos, movie trailers, video games, and other types of music for media.

But of course, as with anything, creativity has no limits, you can throw these sounds in your next dance floor smash or hip hop anthem…

it’s totally up to you

Quick Specs

content: 1.2gb of wave files

format: wav, kontakt, battery, nnxt, exs

price: $49.95

How does it sound?

This is all that really matters right?

Well it sounds exactly how you’d expect, big hits, huge explosions, long evolving atmospheric beds, and suspense-building risers and drones.

Everything is well recorded and has that “big sound” right out the gate.

There is enough variety to keep you busy for sure, though I would have liked to see some performance features on the interface itself.

Maybe some quick access to eq, filter, fx, or something like that.

Overall though, very high quality sounds, heavily layered so stuff is pretty complex not just one sound.

Lot’s of transitions and combinations going on in these sounds which I like, pretty awesome for a wave library with no built in performance controls.

What’s the bottom line on Cinematic Sound Design?

I think anyone who loves film/media music, or the elements used in that genre will love this.

I also think it’s great for those who are just starting to explore the genre and may not want to make a huge investment in some of the larger libraries.

At 49 bucks, it’s really a great value because the stuff doesn’t sound cheesy or anything, it sounds like the type of sounds you would take from some of the larger libraries in this genre.

I give it a 4.5 out of 5 subs, I really liked it, I just wish there were some controls on the actual instrument panel to tweak it a bit.

That said, I can’t really find anything wrong with this, and for the price, it allows pretty much anyone to get access to some professional quality fx and noises.
