Dope Loops Oneshot Artillery Live Pack review

Hey what’s good fam, got a really dope product I wanted to show you

It’s from Dope Loops, one of the sub labels at fatloud

This product is all about oneshot samples, no drums, no loops, just hits, chords, and other oneshots.

Let’s check it!

What is Oneshot Artillery?

It’s a huge collection of various oneshot chords, hits, and other samples.

The product was created in Ableton Live Pack format so it integrates nicely with custom fx and macros in Ableton Live

There are no loops here, no drums, no rex files, just a lot of dope chords and hits

You can still use it even if you don’t use Ableton Live though

Quick Specs

  • content: 430 oneshot samples
  • format: WAV, AIFF, Live Pack, Refill
  • price: $65.95
  • link: fatloudsamples.com/one

How does it sound?

DOPE! It lives up to the company name for sure.

Really, it is a great collection and the samples are not just simple hits, they are really detailed and complex and spark creativity as soon as you play them.

Having them in Ableton Instrument Racks lets you tweak the sounds quickly and adjust to your liking, or you can play them as is, they are really that good.

It covers everything from raw, dirty, to smooth and clean.

There’s some hardcore sounds, some softer sounds, and even some ambient and sound design type stuff.

He also threw in some glitches and general sound FX as well, it’s really a complete package that’s well recorded.

What’s the bottom line?

This is one of the most thorough Live Packs I’ve come across when it comes to Urban/Pop music sounds.

The actual usefulness of the sounds are evident, but there are so many different ones in here that you can go through them forever.

I found each instrument I loaded I instantly had an idea for a track..that’s my idea of a great product.

I give Oneshot Artillery 5 out of 5 subs, it’s really that good. If you have Ableton Live, no question, get the Live Pack version.

But even the default wav files themselves are super dope. I made sure to check them myself as well to see if it was just the trickery of Live that made me love them.

Well that’s not the case, I will definitely be using these in Maschine and other products as well. However having them pre looped in live for sustained playing as well as instant tweaking is definitely a must.

And it looks like the Reason Refill comes with all the FX’s and stuff too??? Do you know if that’s right??

    • saintjoe says:

All of the actual sounds/samples are in each format, the only thing different is say how he used the fx/knobs in ableton, which aren’t in Reason, I don’t know if they are mapped the same in Reason.
