It’s no denying it, we’re in a recession. This is true…but we still gotta make beats and we constantly want to get new stuff.
Many of you may remember Kicksandsnares.com they were one of the ILLEST drum providers online. Do to sound pirating and sharing, they shut that site down.
But the drum fiends wouldn’t let them leave lol. So many kept buggin them, that they started DrumClub500.com a 500 members only drum and sound sample site.
for only 29.99/month you can get new sounds and drums, exclusives…. multiple times a week.
Great idea, definitely a dope service.
But then…..
They wen’t on and made the equivalent of legally selling crack online…. 10 packs.
They broke some of their dope kits into small bite sized packs of 10…. and they are selling them for 2 bucks.
No lie…and they are the same high quality, insane bangin sounds as before… but only 2 bucks.
Need some new snares? Grab 10 for 1.99 real quick…maybe you need a new kick?
Go through the demos and see what you want, it’s only 2 bucks.
I told PJ, the owner…he is going to create addicts and fiends, told him he was crazy for putting stuff out at that price that pretty much is CRUSHING the competition when it comes to drum sounds.
His reply?
“We in a recession dog!” hahaha
He’s cool peeps, you def need to go check them out, bookmark them, and build up your drum library on a budget.
There’s NOTHING budget about these sounds…I still think he crazy, but as a sound hound myself, I absolutely LOVE IT.

Yeah the site is pretty ill, but I’m a little piss because almost all the kits he has up I bought at the old site for 13$ a pop….now you can get a whole 30 drums for basically 6$….but hey I’m part of the DrumClub 500 so I get some exclusives not on the 10packs site.

I feel you fam, but it’s all good, think how long ago that was lol. I bought some kits back then as well, times change and this is good for the beatmaker community man!
I’m waiting to get into the drum club, the code on the script was messed up on the signup page but he gonna tell me when it’s done and I’m in there.
I want them exclusives, if they anything like the originals wheeeeeeeeeeeew lol.

True that…PJ closed the site down earlier this year around May and I copped all the new kits they made until that point, if I just could have waited lol.

Well if you look, he split the kits up so it’s probably the same or more to have the whole kits

It may sound like the geek or drum fiend is oozing out of me when I say this…but I did the science…The demos are the same from the old site, (how do I know? I saved them)
Every series of drums form the old site had a specific demo i.e. BigKicks 1, BigKicks 2, etc.
With the new site even though the kits are split up, the demo in the series changes every 3 kits.
Example…Assorted Snares vol.1 from the old site is the same as Assorted Snares 01 thru 03 from the new site, and 04 thru 06 is Assorted Snares vol.2, the kits usually had 30 to 35 drums, so really if you familiar with the old site you could get a complete volume of 30 drums for 6dollars vs 13$.
Don’t get me wrong this new set up is the move, especially the way things are with the economy, and a whole new crop of beatmakers will have access to some tight sounds, I hope he puts up more then I can cop some that I didn’t get a chance to before he shut down.
btw when will you do a review of BanginBeats.com

Yeah I didn’t break it out, but I knew it was the same kits just split up. When I looked at some of the ones I had, it was usually like 30 or so sounds, it’s a good deal either way you look at it. If you didn’t get them then, get them now lol.
If you’ve never heard of em…now it’s time to learn about em lol.
I did the same thing bro lol…I’m a drum/sound geek as well.
It’s a good deal, that’s why I put it up on the site

500 drum sounds on ebay for 1 dollar are either stolen or wack.
It’s not all about price, but kicks and snares is known to have high quality drums so two bucks for drums you’ll actually use is a good deal.
I’ve learned to pretty much stay away from ebay stuff, unless it’s an actually company.
