Hey what’s good fam! I know it’s been a few weeks but…..
It’s time for some Big Fish!
I figure what better way to serve up a fresh plate of Big Fish Friday than to chop up some new samples
Today I’m checking out Urban Guitar Collection, created by the same guy that did Studio Guitars
Let’s check it out
So what is Urban Guitar Collection?
This is a collection of nothing but guitar loops, licks and riffs.
The styles is specifically geared towards urban, rnb, and hip hop music.
Of course you can use it for whatever, but the styles, keys, and tempos lend themselves well to these genres.
There are no drums, no bass, no keys, nothing but guitars
- content: 1.35GB (545MB Wav)
- format: apple, rex, wav, rmx, acid
- price: $69.95
How does it sound?
As usual, the samples are well played and well recorded.
You may expect nothing but smooth style guitar riffs, but there are some hard, “rock-like” power chords and riffs too.
Everything is tempo labeled and key labeled to make it easy to find what you need.
You also get a lot of variations in each “kit” so that you can have different samples for various parts of your song that fit together style and key wise.
The loops are long enough to chop up or creative enough to leave them as is.
I like that you can get smooth jazzy riffs, more up-tempo rhythms, and even some hard rock style lines all in the same library.
So what’s the bottom line?
This is another solid collection of useful guitar loops ready for chopping or laying as the foundation of your next track.
I give Urban Guitar Collection 4 out of 5 subs. It contains well played loops that capture the sound and style needed to fit urban music tracks
Being focused on a specific genre, you won’t find quite as wide of a variety as the previous Studio Guitars library, but that is to be expected.
For anyone looking for some urban, rnb, or even pop and electro guitar riffs, you’re sure to find something useful in here.
