A collection of various guitar loops and riffs.

The content is broken up by chord vs lead and also by key and tempo

Each folder has multiple loops in the same key, based off of similar “grooves” or parts

How does it sound?

This library is more of a mix of soul and funk, and a few other styles of guitar

It’s not just straight soulful guitar, depending on your definition of the term, but there’s a lot of content with some really nice grooves.

There’s multiple variations here and the loops are long enough that you can get quite a few chops out of them.

Having the key and tempo directly in the file itself is always helpful for quick browsing and auditioning.

The recording quality is good, no clicks, pops, or other unwanted artifacts

What’s the bottom line?

If the loops qualify as “soulful” to you depends on your tastes, however what can’t be denied is that it’s a nice collection of guitar loops.

There’s a variety of sounds in here, from funk, to rnb/pop.

I give Soulful Guitars 4 out of 5 subs, there’s a decent amount of content with a lot of key and style variations.

The length of the loops allows for plenty of chopping or straight up looping for multiple song sections.

At the end of the day, it’s definitely a useful collection of guitar sounds and riffs.
